The Santiago High School Cross Country team is thrilled to host its 4th Annual Shark Attack 5k Run and 1 Mile Run.

Get ready for an exhilarating race that combines the excitement of a 5k or 1-mile run with the support of a vibrant community! Whether you're a seasoned racer or a first-timer, get set to experience an electrifying event in a stunning setting, surrounded by an awesome crowd of fellow runners!
📅 Race Details
🕕 Arrival
- CHECK IN: 6:00 a.m. Registration will remain open on race day from 6:00 a.m. through 7:00 a.m.
- OPENING CEREMONY: 7:15 a.m.
🚗 Parking
- FREE PARKING: located inside Green River Golf course (1 Main entrance to Golf Course).
- Please park in the upper parking lot section (See address below).
🏞️ Course Description
Experience the picturesque landscapes of the Green River Golf Course at the Shark Attack 5k! This flat, fast course features conditions ideal for pushing your limits and setting personal records.
- MILE 1: Start off with a fast first mile on a mostly paved pathway running parallel to pristine fairways.
- MILE 2: The second mile offers a mixture of both paved roads and dirt trails.
- MILE 3: The final stretch is near and will certainly allow you to finish your strongest.
- FINISH LINE: As you cross the finish line you’ll be welcomed into a grand celebration area where you’ll receive your medal and be greeted by fans, fellow participants, and a live DJ! Then enjoy a lively post-race atmosphere with music, snacks, and vendor booths.

- KIDS INCENTIVE: Kids may earn 100 Mile Club Credit.
- SHIRT OFFER: Receive a Dri-FIT shirt if registration is received by deadline October 1st.
