🏃‍♂️ Stayton Fun Run

Since 1983 Stayton has been celebrating fitness and this family tradition on the 4th of July. Both the runs and walk of this annual event will take place on asphalt and cross-country surfaces. The courses are excellent for the competitive runner, fun runner and walker.

🎉 Event Highlights

Festivities: The Runs and Walk is being held in conjunction with Stayton’s 4th of July festival.
Activities: The festival features a Kid’s and Grand Parade, a community dinner, band concerts, variety show, kid’s games, food booths, and a fantastic fireworks display.
Post-Race Fun: There is much to do after the race is over.

🏅 Patriotic Contest

The MOST PATRIOTICALLY DRESSED RUNNER will win a patriotic denali blanket valued at $130.

WHEN: Every JULY 4th, starting at 9:00 a.m. (DAY OF REGISTRATION FOR TIMED RESULTS WILL END @ 8:45 AM)
Ceremony: *8:30am Race Day Scout Flag Ceremony (start your 4th of July off right)*
WHERE: Starts at the Stayton Community Center – 500 W Burnett St. (Off 1st St.), Stayton is 15 miles east of Salem on Highway 22.

💰 Registration Fees

Pre-Registration: $15.00 per person if you pre-register online (before July 4th).
Day of Race: $20.00 per person (DAY OF REGISTRATION FOR TIMED RESULTS WILL END @ 8:45 AM).
Registration Time: Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Stayton Community Center.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

Included: Ribbons to the top male and female finishers in five-year age-groups in the 5k and 10k races.
Post-Race: Stay around after the race to see who won the most patriotically dressed!
Not Included: High Entry Fees, Fancy Awards.
