🎉 Event Overview
Downingtown Good Neighbor Day benefits the Fire and rescue squads within the Downingtown Area School District. Good Neighbor Day is a day long event that starts with the Run for Life 5K, 10K, 15K or 5K Freedom Walk. Approximately 1,500 athletes participate each year. Throughout the day you can enjoy fabulous food, visit 80-100 craft exhibitors or simply enjoy one of the many activities scheduled for the day. The day is capped off with a Fireworks Grand Finale that starts at dusk.
- Beneficiary: Fire and rescue squads within the Downingtown Area School District.
- Participants: Approximately 1,500 athletes each year.
- Activities: Food, craft exhibitions, and various scheduled activities.
- Finale: Fireworks Grand Finale at dusk.
🏃♂️ Run for Life Details
$50 to top male and female.
T-shirts for first 1000 registered runners.
Medals for 1st three male and female finishers in each category.
Runners Number & Packet Pick-up at Kerr Park - July 3rd from Noon till 7 PM, July 4th from 6:00 AM till 7:50 AM.
Race starts at 8:00 AM.
- Prizes: $50 for top male and female.
- T-shirts: First 1000 registered runners receive a T-shirt.
- Medals: 1st three male and female finishers in each category.
- Pick-up Time: July 3rd Noon - 7 PM and July 4th 6:00 AM - 7:50 AM.
👶 Age Groups
7 & Under, 8-10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
- Categories: Includes a wide range of age groups from 7 & Under to 80+.
- Inclusivity: Encourages participation among all ages.
🚶♀️ 5K Freedom Walk
T-shirts for first 150 registered walkers. THE 5K FREEDOM WALK WILL NOT BE TIMED THIS YEAR!!!! This is a fun walk.
Walk starts at 8:00 AM.
- T-shirts: First 150 registered walkers receive a T-shirt.
- Timing: The walk will not be timed this year.
- Start Time: Walk begins at 8:00 AM.
🏅 Kids K Fun Run
Kids K Fun Run registration is on race day only. Medals awarded to all finishers. T-shirts for first 200 entries. Race starts at 10:00 AM.
Entry Fee is Non-refundable.
