H.I.P.H.O.P. Presents the 25th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk (Hybrid Event)

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us onsite at Johnson Park or participate virtually at your convenience in your environment of choice--In Person or Virtual.

🌐 Participation Options

• Hybrid Event: Participants can complete our 5K (3.1 miles) in person or virtually.
• Locations: You can run at Johnson Park, in your yard, at home, on a street, or on a treadmill.
• Health Guidelines: Health and safety guidelines will be in effect at the time of the race.
• Submitting Times: You can submit your time online (go to the results menu link to do that).

📸 Share Your Experience

After you upload your results, you can also upload a picture of yourself wearing our virtual bib to show we are coming "together, yet apart" in support of our fundraiser. After you register for the race follow these instructions to print your bib.

💖 Fundraiser Details

All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to HIPHOP-Promise Clinic, Community Health Initiative and Asylum Clinic and community sites committed to caring for the needs of the underserved and will fund community outreach events and initiatives.

Organized by: Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Homeless and Indigent Population Health Outreach Project (H.I.P.H.O.P.)

💲 Entry Fees

• Early Registration: $30.00 if registering on/before September 20, 2024
• Regular Registration: $35.00 if registering on/after September 21, 2024
• Team Rate: $25.00 per person for teams of 6 or more (no teams after September 20, 2024)
• Weather Policy: Rain or Shine, No Rescheduling Date/No Refunds (Hybrid)

The first 100 people to register will receive a T-shirt and the remaining participants receive a finisher medal (while supplies last).
