Mayor's River Walk and Run 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Activity: Walk/run the river trail together this year!
• Date & Time: Meet Mayor Andy Schor at Potter Park on June 7th at 9am.
• Route: Participants will make their way to Turner Dodge House with transportation back to Potter Park.
• Extras: Every participant receives a t-shirt, medal, and snacks at the end, along with fun stations for the kids.

🎨 ArtPath Installations

• Trail Highlights: The trail will lead you by 20 all new ArtPath installations.
• Collaboration: This initiative partners with the Lansing Art Gallery.
• Celebration: This event kicks off the 8th year of bringing art to the trail.

📝 Registration Information

• Competitive Run: Registration is $20 until May 24th, includes a Mayor's River Walk T-Shirt, finisher medal, and matching socks.
• Price Increase: $25 from 5/25 to 6/3, $30 from 6/4 to 6/6.
• Walkers: Registration is free and includes a Mayor's River Walk T-Shirt and finisher medal!

📦 Packet Pickup

• Dates: June 4th and 5th from 3-6pm at the Foster Center (200 N Foster Ave, Lansing).
• Race Day: Packet pickup starts at 8:00 am at Potter Park.
• Registration Reminder: Be sure to preregister, as there will be no race day registration available. Walkers can register on-site.

💰 Support the Cause

• Proceeds: Donations from this event support the Friends of the Lansing Regional Trails.
• Timing: The competitive run will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
• Results: They will be posted during the race on the event website.
