It's time for the Turkey Trot Saturday 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
This is for Saturday 11/30 registration only.
🕖 Check-in & Start Times
- Check-in: 7:00AM-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cutoff: 10:45AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45AM

📍 Location Details
Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.) * do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com
📝 Event Details and Schedule
- Plan Ahead: PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY TO FIND PARKING AND USE THE RESTROOM.
- Restroom Supplies: Bring toilet paper just in case, as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
- Results Posting: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Free Photos: FREE pictures for everyone posted on our facebook page after the event!
🏅 Course Information
- 5k: Out and back route Route Link
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop: Route Link
🧒 Special Notes
Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for an early start.
🏆 Finisher Medals & Results
- Finisher Medal: ALL finishers get a medal.
- Goodie Bag: Everyone will get a medal as well as a goodie bag.
- Results Posting: Results are posted after every race on www.abetterworldrunning.com
