It's time for our Giving Thanks 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖 Check-in and Start Times
- Check-in: 7-7:30 AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30 AM
- Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45 AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45 AM

📍 Location Details
- Address: 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)
- Check-in Point: Closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave.
- GPS Advice: Do not use Apple Maps: use Google Maps or Waze.
- Map Availability: A photo of the map is on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com
🚻 Event Preparation
- Parking: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking.
- Restroom Access: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked.
- Photo Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Free Pictures: For everyone, posted on our Facebook page after the event!
📅 Race Course Information
- 5k: Out and back route - Map Link
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop - Map Link
🐾 Participant Information
- Strollers and Dogs: Running/walking with a stroller or a dog is allowed.
- Half Marathon Time Limit: 3:15, contact us for an early start if needed.
- Finishers: All finishers get a medal.
- Goodie Bag: Everyone will receive a goodie bag.
📈 Post-Race Information
- Results: Results are posted after every race on www.abetterworldrunning.com.
- Free Photos: Available on our Facebook page - www.facebook.com/abetterworldrunning.
- Racing Experience: We emphasize a more relaxed, fun, and personal racing experience!
