This year marks the 39th annual Heights Fun Run hosted by the Houston Heights Association. The Houston Heights Fun Run will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024!
Hybrid In-Person & Virtual 5K, 10K, and Kids 1K Race
📅 Event Details
- Event Date: Saturday, October 12th, 2024
- Event Location: Marmion Park, 1800 Heights Boulevard, Houston, TX 77008
ℹ️ Event Information
- IN PERSON Option: 10K run, 5K walk/run, or Kids 1K on race day at the event location
- VIRTUAL Option: Run anytime from registration up to race day on a trail of your choice
🕒 Race Day Schedule
- 5:30AM: Last-minute packet pick-up at Marmion
- 6:45AM: Pre-Race Stretching at Starting Line
- 7:00AM: Competitive Events begin
- 8:00AM: Kids 1K starts
- 8:00AM: After Party Starts with LIVE music
🏃♀️ Race Day Groups (5K/10K Run)
- Groups based on estimated Mile Pace
- Starts: Sub 7:00 min/mile, Group 2: 7:00-8:30 min/mile, etc.
🗺️ Course Information
- Routes for 1K, 5K, and 10K listed
- Boulevard will be closed for In-Person Option
🏆 Awards
- Awards for Top 3 Male & Female Finishers of each age group
🎉 After Party Information
- Post-Race After-Party at Marmion Park with vendors/sponsors
