Sirens and Sneakers 5K

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

The Coffee Potter is proud to present the 2nd annual Sirens and Sneakers 5K at Long Valley Day. Sirens and Sneakers will take place at Ort Farms in beautiful and historic Long Valley, New Jersey. Runners will be treated to beautiful views of the valley and mountains while touring an iconic piece of Long Valley history. Sirens and Sneakers aims to raise funds that will provide additional resources and training opportunities to volunteer first responders in Long Valley. This is to include the Long Valley First Aid Squad and Fire Departments.

🗺️ The Course and Terrain

• Terrain: Mixed terrain due to Ort Farms being an active and working farm.
• Conditions: Loose dirt, gravel, grass, and paved roads can all be expected.
• Event Status: Sirens and Sneakers is a rain or shine event.
• Course: Two laps for a total distance of 5 kilometers with two road crossings per lap.

👶 Kids Race

Immediately following the 5K we will be hosting our first kids race. There will be two different kids races so please choose the appropriate race for your child's age. Children ages 5 to 8 will be able to participate in a 300 yard dash. The 300 yard dash will be an out and back. Children ages 9 to 12 will be able to participate in a .80 mile run that will include sections of Orts farm fields and farm roads. There will be NO public road crossings for any of the kids races. All kids race finishers will receive a finishers medal for their participation.

Again please note that this is a rain or shine event.

🎉 Post Race Festivities

Following the Sirens and Sneakers 5K, runners and their family can stick around and join us for a day of wholesome fun and community spirit at Long Valley Day, hosted by Ort Farms and Long Valley Hopes. Long Valley Hopes is a non-profit organization providing financial support to local residents and families affected by cancer and other serious illnesses. All proceeds from Long Valley Day will benefit this mission.

Admission to Long Valley day is an additional cost and can be found in the registration page.

🏅 Swag and Top Finishers Prizes

• T-shirts: All adult pre-registrants who register by 5/09/2025 will receive a t-shirt and swag bag on race day. Please be sure to denote your shirt size during the registration process.
• Prizes: Prize baskets to our top three men and women.
• 1st Place Men and Women: Custom Yeti Tumbler, $20 Gift Card to The Coffee Potter, One Pound Bag of TCP Blend Coffee.
• Custom Event Medal: All kids race finishers will receive a medal.
