🏃 Event Overview

• Family-Friendly: Walk, Wiggle, Wag & RUN is the Cape Coral Animal Shelter’s premier family and pet-friendly event!
• Purpose: Together, we will raise vital funds to help the homeless and neglected animals in our care.
• Activities: Mutt Strutt around the Shelter property and a 5K route around the neighborhood.
• Fun: Enjoy music, food trucks, and vendors with a fabulous event shirt for all registered participants!

🥇 Awards and Prizes

• 5K Awards: Medals awarded by age group and M/F category for human runners.
• Dog Runner Teams: Specialty prize baskets for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place for 5K dog runner teams!
• Registration: Join us for either or both events! Your participation helps make a difference.
• Pet Participation: This is a pet-friendly event: dogs are welcome!

📋 Registration Information

• Date: Participant event shirt and bib distribution on March 21st, 2025.
• Location: Cape Coral Animal Shelter, 325 SW 2nd Avenue, Cape Coral, FL 33991
• Time: 11 AM - 4:00 PM
• Event Day Registration: Check-In Table also at the same location.

⚠️ Important Guidelines

• Leash Policy: Standard leashes only - no retractable leashes allowed.
• Collar Restrictions: Pronged/choke chain collars will not be permitted at this event.
• Cleanup: Please be prepared to clean up after your pet.
• Shirt Guarantee: No shirt guarantee after March 1st, 2025 at 12 Noon.

• 5K Start: 8 AM
• Awards Presentation: 9:00 AM
• Fun Walk Start: 9:30 AM

🏆 Award Categories

• Overall Medals: Male/Female, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters.
• Age Groups: Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in various categories including 10 and under, 11-14, and up to 75 & Up.
• Team Awards: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place award medal and pet basket for furry friend team runners.
