Relay For Life of Greater Lee - Glow Run

🎉 Exciting Glow Run Announcement

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new addition to this year’s Relay For Life—our first-ever Glow Run! Alongside the inspiring traditions you love, this new experience will add even more energy and engagement to our event.

📅 Event Details

• Date & Time: The evening kicks off at 6:00 PM with Opening Ceremonies, including our inspiring Survivor Lap to honor cancer survivors and caregivers.
• Glow Run Start: The Glow Run begins at 7:00 PM, where participants will light up the night with glow-in-the-dark gear while running or walking 3.1 miles to show their support.
• Glow Run Registration: For $25, participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, a glow stick, a finisher’s medal, and eligibility for event awards (if registered through Beach Bum Timing).

🌟 Special Survivor Reception

• Invitation: Registered cancer survivors will be invited to a special Survivor Reception, generously sponsored by NeoGenomics Laboratories.
• Purpose: This reception is our way of celebrating and honoring your strength, resilience, and journey.

• Registration Requirement: To qualify for Relay rewards and fundraising incentives, make sure to register on both the Relay For Life website and Beach Bum Timing.

🎪 Relay Traditions Continue!

• Team Campsites: Set up your campsite as usual to fundraise, connect, and showcase your creativity. Campsite activities remain a key part of the Relay experience!
• Dinner Options: We are hoping to have a variety of food trucks onsite, offering delicious options for purchase.
• Luminaria Ceremony: At 8:15 PM, we will gather for the powerful Luminaria Ceremony to honor loved ones, support those fighting cancer, and celebrate survivors.
• Awards & Closing: The night will conclude with awards recognizing outstanding teams and participants as well as race winning results.
