🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: Babcock Ranch is excited to announce our 4th of July 5K Run/Walk.
• Course: The course is a scenic 3.1 miles around Babcock Ranch, starting and finishing in Founder's Square.

👕 Registration Info

• Shirt Cutoff: The shirt cutoff date is June 20, 2025. Shirts ARE NOT guaranteed after this date. Any extra shirts will be available after the race.
• Price Increase: Register by June 6, 2025 to beat the price increase.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Early Packet Pickup: Wednesday, July 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Thursday, July 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Pickup Location: Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.

🚗 Race Day Details

• Parking: Free ample parking is available near the starting area.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. at 42850 Crescent Loop, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
• Registration: Race day registration from 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. Cost is $40.00.
• Start Time: 7:30 a.m.

🍉 Post-Race Amenities

• Snacks: Post-race snacks are available after the race.
• Facilities: Bathrooms and Water Stations will be located at the start and finish areas, and the water stop will also be at the halfway mark.

🏆 Awards

• Age Group Awards: Age group awards are based on off-chip time.
• Overall Awards: There will be overall awards and finisher medals.
• Top 3 Awards: In-person awards for the top three M/F in various age groups.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

• Is this a timed race? Yes, the 5K is chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing.
• Are dogs allowed? You may run with your dog, but must assume ALL responsibility. Your pet must be leashed at all times.
• Are strollers allowed? Yes, participants with strollers must start at the back of the race.
• Is course good for spectators? Yes.
