🏃♂️ Race Location
- Location: The race will take place at the fountain on George Washington Plaza.
🎉 Race Overview
- Event: The Downtown Dash 5K run/walk is kicking off the Monaca Community Day celebrations.
- Course: Starting at George Washington Plaza, it will be an out and back course heading towards the old Monaca high school football field, down Atlantic Avenue to the Monaca Pump House and back to George Washington Plaza.
- Awards: Awards will be given after the end of the race.
- Beneficiaries: Funds raised will help continue the mission of developing a downtown district by helping local businesses with small grants for improvements and by bringing the arts into the community through murals, events, music, and much more.
🗓️ Event Details
- Community Day: After the race, don’t forget to get ready for the Monaca Community Day celebrations starting at 2:00 pm through the fireworks.
- Registration: Register by June 24th to guarantee a race t-shirt.
📦 Packet Pick Up
- Early Packet Pick Up: If you registered before 5pm on June 27th, early pick up is available Friday June 28th at Monaca Brewing Company between 5pm - 7pm.
- Race Day Packet Pick Up: Saturday June 29th starting at 7:30 am at George Washington Plaza.
🏆 Awards
- Top Performers: Awards for the Top 3 Overall Male and Female.
- Age Groups: Top 3 in each age group: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
