Lake Sammamish Half Marathon

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Lake Sammamish Half Marathon is a point to point race that takes runners along the smooth trail that connects Marymoor Park in Redmond to Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. This interurban trail is very popular with runners and is fully paved. We also offer a half-marathon walk category with a generous 4 hour time limit. This flat run is perfect for a half-marathon personal best whether you’re running or walking!

⏱️ Race Timing and Amenities

• Chip-Timed: The race is chip-timed.
• Participation Gear: Each racer will receive a custom bib, participant shirt, and a finisher medal.
• Aid Stations: Aid stations are provided every few miles (see course map) with Clif gels, Nuun and water.
• Finish Line Festivities: The finish line will be by the beach and includes a nice line up of food and music.

💧 Hydration Information

The Lake Sammamish Half is cupless, so you either need to bring a handheld bottle, wear a hydration pack, or we can provide you with a re-useable cup at the start line.

🌐 Virtual Race Info

VIRTUAL RACE INFO - We have 40 spots for virtual runners. Once they sell out there are no more available. You can run the distance all at once or break it up into chunks and run it on the date of your choosing. You will receive a shirt and medal that will be mailed after the in person race.
