The Wisdom Warrior Challenge (WWC) is a unique track event for senior living communities! What started as 19 seniors training together for a local 5K now involves more than 1,000+ participants in a national competition! And it’s absolutely FREE to every participant thanks to our generous sponsors!
Participating senior communities are given all the tools required to host a WWC track event for their residents that will earn them points in both a local and national competition!
Qualifying is easy:
- Age requirement: Participants must be 50 years of age or older
- Statement verification: Able to repeat the statement: “Age is just a number, and I am so much more than a number!”
The competition is broken down into several different distances and various age categories – including a wheelchair division!
Participants receive:
- Swag bags: Stocked up swag bags
- T-shirts: Unique event t-shirts
- Medals: Medals for all participants
The WWC is a fantastic opportunity to:
- Engage: Engage senior community residents in health and wellness programs
- Involve: Involve the local community through sponsorships
- Celebrate: Awards ceremonies and vendor expos!
