🏃♀️ Event Overview
We are two Delaware Occupational and Speech Therapists who are planning the 2nd Annual Stroke Awareness 5k Run/Walk event.
💡 Purpose of the Event
We have identified a need for support and awareness in our community for stroke survivors and their caregivers.
Our hope is to connect this wonderful community with local businesses and resources to shed a light on this important cause.
💰 Proceeds and Support
Proceeds from this race will go towards supporting individuals who have sustained a stroke and covering extraneous expenses.
- Adaptive Equipment: to improve safety and quality of life.
- Mobility Related DME: for enhanced movement capabilities.
- Transportation: to and from appointments.
- Speech Generating Devices: to aid communication.
