Run with the Docs 5k & 1 Miler

🏃‍♂️ Race-Day Registration

• Note: Race-day registration on June 8, 2025 will be cash or check only.

📅 Event Details

• What: Run with the Docs is a 5k run and 1 mile walk.
• Date: Sunday, June 8, 2025.
• Location: Virtua Voorhees Hospital, Voorhees, NJ.
• Packet Pickup: Dates TBA for t-shirts and bibs.

🏆 Prizes & Awards

• Top Runners: Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 runners in each age group.
• Canine Participants: Back by popular demand, canine participants will receive a bandana.
• T-Shirt Availability: Race-day registrations and online registrations received after May 25 may receive their t-shirts after the race, beginning the week of June 9.

💖 Beneficiary Information

• Support: Run with the Docs benefits Virtua’s Perinatal Bereavement and Palliative Care Program.
• Services: The program provides support and care to families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss.
• Education: Provides education to our OB physicians and practitioners on compassionate communication when delivering bad news.
• Financial Assistance: Offers a financial assistance program to help ease the burden of funeral or burial costs.

• Resources: Purchases books on grief for parents and children.
• Cooling Beds: Supports the purchase of cooling beds, which allow parents to spend precious time with their baby.
• Conferences: Presents our biennial Perinatal Bereavement and Palliative Care conference.
• Regional Support: Serves as a resource for families whether they are patients at Virtua or another health care system.

• Cancellations: If unsafe conditions arise, the race may be called on-site.
• No Refunds: Run with the Docs has a “no refunds” policy.
• Support: Registration fees support families in need.
