The Run for Prevention is a chipped and timed 5K Family Run and Walk suitable for all ages and abilities. Join us at the beautiful Caloosahatchee River in Jaycee Park, Cape Coral, FL. This event is stroller and pet friendly.
đ Race Details
- Start Time: The run begins at 8:00 a.m.
- Packet Pickup: January 24, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Collaboratory, 2031 Jackson Street, Fort Myers, FL 33901. Packets can also be picked up on the day of the event after 7:00 a.m.
- T-Shirts: Free for the first 300 registrants. Team members get a $5.00 discount. Sizes are not guaranteed.
- Weather Policy: The event is held "rain or shine" with no refunds.
đ Awards
Awards will be given to the first-place male and female participants, as well as 3 deep in various age groups from 1-10 to 71 and Up.

- Chipping and Timing: Services provided by BEACH BUM TIMING.
- Proceeds: Support Drug House Odyssey, SADD Prevention Clubs, and drug and alcohol abuse prevention in Lee County through Drug Free Lee, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
