Presque Isle Half Marathon

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Type: A half marathon event on the shores of Lake Erie - at Presque Isle State Park.
• Registration Includes: A technical race shirt, finisher's medal and post race refreshments.

📍 Location and Time Limit

• Park Regulations: This event is held on a state park, which requires certain limitations.
• Time Limit: There is a 3 hour time limit on the course: anyone not maintaining a 14 minute per mile pace will be directed to the all-purpose trail.
• Course Adjustments: Depending on conditions on race day, you may need to go to the all-purpose trail sooner if requested by the park rangers.

📝 Registration Details

• No Day-Of Registration: There is no day of race registration at the venue: please sign up online prior to race day.
• Packet Pickup: Will be at the beach 1 pavilion at Presque Isle on Saturday from noon until 5 PM and on Sunday prior to the race starting at 5:30 AM.
• Proxy Pickup: You may have someone else pick up your packets.

👕 Premiums

• T-Shirt: We are offering a top-quality dri release long sleeved shirt (design coming).
• Shirt Pickup: Shirts not picked up by the start of the race cannot be mailed and will be donated.
• Size Availability: There is no guarantee of a shirt if registering in the last 10 days: if your shirt size is not available, we'll set aside a requested size after the race starts.

🎉 Post Race Celebration

• After Party: After the race, we will party at the Beach 1 pavilion with refreshments and a DJ.
• Comfort: Please feel free to bring your own outdoor chairs or beach blanket for added comfort.
• Food and Music: Food, drink, music and friendship will be supplied to all runners.

🏆 Awards

• Award Distribution: As soon as race results are available, we will hand out the awards.
• Award Categories: Awards will be for overall first 3 winners, male and female, and first overall masters winners as well as 5 year age groups.
• No Mailing: Awards will not be mailed after the race.
