New Blossoms New Life 5k

🌼 Race Overview

New Blossoms New Life Foundation is a local, non-profit organization that was founded 14 years ago by Renea’ and Chris Kovski when they tragically lost their 2-year-old daughter Maggie. The foundation provides financial assistance and emotional support to couples challenged with infertility - with the goal of helping them have a child. New Blossoms New Life Foundation awards grants for costly fertility treatments, as well as, provides mentoring, counseling, and community education.

💰 Entry Fee

• 5k Entry Fee: $25.00 per person for Run/Walk and T-shirt. (T-shirt design coming soon)
• Kids Fun Run Fee: $12 for kids fun run and T-shirt (T-shirt design coming soon)
• Kids Ages 6-13: Will run a 1/4 Mile Race (1 lap around the track)
• Kids Ages 2-5: Will run a 100 Meter Race

All proceeds will go directly to New Blossoms New Life Foundation to help a couple cover their IVF costs. A Basket Raffle will be available to those who want to participate (please come early to get tickets prior to the start of the race). Cost for the auction will be separate from the race sign up.

📍 Location and Time

Penn State Behrend Track & Field Complex, 4712 College Dr, Erie, PA 16510.

9:30 AM start time for kids fun run. 5K to follow directly after. Race chip and T-shirt will be distributed day of race from 7:30-9:15.

📝 Registration

Online or mail-in registration. T-shirts will be provided to those that register before June 25th. Additional T-shirts will be available with late registration while supplies last. Online registration closes 7 PM July 9th. Mail-in registration ends July 1st.

🏆 Prizes

Top 3 overall females and top 3 overall males will be awarded prizes for 5k.
