Owensboro Family YMCA is proud to host the BBQ 5K on May 10, 2025, downtown Owensboro.

• Location: 311 West Veterans Boulevard, Owensboro, KY
• Race Timing: Competitive racers start at 8:00 a.m., non-competitive racers at the back.
• Part of: The 2025 BBQ & Barrels event

💲Registration Pricing

• Adults: $35
• Children (1-18): $20 (registration will discount at the cart)
• Day of Race Registration: $40
• T-shirts: Available for registrations received by April 26th

📦Bag Pickup Information

• Pre-Race Pickup: Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9 (5am to 9pm) at Owensboro Family YMCA, 900 KY Parkway, Owensboro
• Race Day Pickup: 7:00 - 7:45 am at race location

🏆Awards and Recognition

• Top Prizes: $100 worth of prizes for the top male and top female
• Medals: Given to the top 3 racers in each age group
• Age Groups: 1-10, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99
• Awards Ceremony: Details will be shared at the event

BBQ & Barrels represents the culmination of 45 years of a cultural tradition in Owensboro and Daviess County. It is the celebration of our past, our present, and our future, bringing together two of Owensboro’s greatest culinary traditions – unique barbecue and historic Kentucky bourbon.
