The Tyrone Race Series presents The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint!

The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint Event will take place on June 14th, 2025!

🏢 About Neptune Fire Company

In 1871, as the region of Tyrone started to settle, 31 residents saw a need for fire protection and started assisting the community as Neptune Steam Volunteer. Today, Neptune Fire Company has served our community as a volunteer fire company for over 150 years and is stationed at 1701 Lincoln Avenue in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. In 2024, Neptune Fire Company has 25 members assisting the community in more than 375 calls per year. Each firefighter is safely equipped with gear costing over $8,000 to help fight fires and assist the community. Donations raised will assist operational funds and equipment upgrades.

🕒 Timeline of Events

• 6:30 AM: Check in and day of registration will take place at Neptune Fire Co Number 1.
• 8:00 AM: 5K, Firefighter 5K and First Responder 5K starts.
• 9:30 AM: Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash).
• 10:00 AM: Awards and Closing Ceremony.

📝 Registration Information

Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by June 1st to be guaranteed a short sleeve shirt. Shirt Deadline Extended to June 2nd, 2024 at 11:59 PM!

Day of Race Registration: Race registration for the day of is only available from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM.

Additional Shirts: Can be ordered on RunSignUp Store and picked up race day on June 15, 2024 at Neptune Fire Co Number 1 located at 1701 Lincoln Ave, Tyrone, PA 16686. Shirt Order Deadline Extended to June 2nd, 2024 at 11:59 PM!

Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint Children 9 & Under:

Registration includes a short sleeve shirt and race goodie bag: Youth S-L & Adult S - 4XL.

Paper Registrations can be requested by emailing runtrs1857@gmail.com. They can be mailed or dropped off at the Neptune Fire Co Number 1 - 1701 Lincoln Ave, Tyrone, PA 16686 or mailed to Tyrone Race Series at PO Box 95 Tyrone, PA 16686. Checks made payable to Tyrone Race Series.

❌ Cancellation and Weather Policy

Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation of Neptune Fire Co Race, all proceeds will be given to Neptune's Fire Company.

Inclement Weather: We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Tyrone Race Series committee. Any updates will be posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
