🌅 Course Highlights
- Scenic Route: Enjoy tree lined vistas of waterfront neighborhoods and lake-hugging roadways.
- Unique Experience: The gentle rolling hills give this course a uniqueness of its own.
- Charming Atmosphere: Catch the rising sun through gracefully swaying Spanish moss.
- Course Closure: The course will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
📋 Registration Details
- Packet Pick-up: Available on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. For details visit the website.
- Registration Pricing: Packet Pick-up will also be available on race day.
- No Virtual Option: There will be NO virtual option available for the Half Marathon or 5K.
- Restrictions: NO STROLLERS - NO PETS ALLOWED IN 5K or HALF MARATHON.
🏅 Awards & Recognition
- Finisher Medals: Medals will be awarded to ALL finishers of both the Half Marathon and the 5K.
- Awards for Half Marathon: Top 3 overall males and females, Top male and female master, and top 3 in each age group.
- Age Group Categories: Age groups include 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
- Awards for 5K: Top 3 overall males and females, and top 3 in each age group.
🌟 Beneficiary Support
- Community Impact: A portion of the proceeds helps support FFA and Cheerleading Team of Mount Dora High School.
- Foundation Support: Contributions assist the Run 4 a Cause Foundation, providing disadvantaged youth with opportunities to participate in local sports.
- Refreshments: Food and refreshments will be provided.
- Timing and Scoring: Event will be chip timed with disposable chips attached to the back of the bib.
