Get ready to lace up your sneakers and join us for a heartwarming celebration of the real superheroes in our lives – MOMS! So, grab your mom squad, bring along the kiddos, and let's make memories together as we celebrate the incredible moms in our lives. Let’s make this Mother’s Day one to remember! See you at the Mom’s Day 5K – where every stride is a salute to the amazing women who make our world brighter.

🏃‍♂️ KIDS FUN RUN - THE "LOGGERHEAD LOOP"

We are excited to partner with the Sea Turtle Patrol of Hilton Head to offer a special Kid's Fun Run we are calling the "LOGGERHEAD LOOP". The LOGGERHEAD LOOP is a 250m kid run around Celebration Park - with the option to run with a turtle shell on your back! The Sea Turtle Patrol will be onsite to monitor all the little turtle (kids) and provide other activities for the kids in the Park.

• All Kids: receive a Custom Race Medal and T-Shirt!

✨ WHAT MAKES RUNNING the MOM'S DAY 5K SPECIAL

• Fun: relaxed and fun environment to celebrate Mother’s Day with your family, friends, and the huge community of runners.
• Kids Run 5K for $20: all kids 12 and under register at a lower rate - and that includes a race shirt.
• Kids Fun Run "The Loggerhead Loop": only $20 - and that includes a race shirt and finisher medal!
• Bling Bling: every participant receives a custom race shirt and a custom finisher medal - and, you’ll be eligible for custom race awards too.
• Giving Back: we partner with the Sea Pines Montessori Academy (501c non-profit) that strives to inspire students to build a better world.

Each registration includes:

📋 RULES TO REGISTRATION

• MOM'S DAY 5K is open to ALL runners and walkers.
• Strollers are welcome.
• Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• No race-day registration.

🏞️ RACE COURSE

Race course is posted in the TOP NAV BAR

Please note:

• Race course is mostly on the leisure paths of the South Forest Beach neighborhood.
• Water station is posted at ~ mile 1.55.
• This is not a closed course - participants will share the paths with non-participants - keep your head up :)

Sea Pines Montessori Academy is committed to the flourishing of the whole child. We nurture each child’s cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development, promote service to others, and foster peace through an authentic Montessori environment.

🏆 AWARDS & RESULTS

Awards will be given to - Top 3 Overall (Female & Male) / Top 3 Age Group (Female & Male) 12-Under: 13-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60-69: 70-Over. Awards will not be mailed out.

Preliminary results are emailed to the participant 20sec after crossing the finish line - no need to stick around for your finish time if you have more fun to get to :) Final Results will be emailed to every participant upon the completion of the event.

🌧️ INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN

Safety for our participants, volunteers, and staff is our number one concern. Any decision we make regarding the production or cancellation of the event will be made with their interest first and foremost. If mother nature does not cooperate on race morning - we will delay the event until the conditions are safe. This delay will continue for a reasonable amount of time until we deem it necessary to cancel the event. If time permits and if the weather poses a threat that is certain to make us cancel the event in the hours prior the start, we will notify participants of the race cancellation via email as soon as that decision is made.
