Join us for the 4th annual Mimosas for Marrow 5K run/walk—a joyful, heartfelt event that brings our community together to support families affected by blood cancers and disorders, and to honor the incredible strength of those searching for a lifesaving bone marrow donor.
Inspired by Oakley’s Journey
- Background: This event was created by local moms, Sam and Brittany, after Sam’s daughter, Oakley, received a lifesaving bone marrow transplant in 2022.
- Courage: Her courage continues to fuel our mission to support NMDP and families right here in our community walking similar roads.
Why It Matters
- Statistics: Every 3–4 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer or disorder.
- Hope: For many, a matching donor is their only hope.
