Shirt Guarantee: The deadline to be guaranteed a shirt w/ your registration is February 22nd, so be sure to register before then!
📅 Race Day Details
Date: Join us on the first Saturday of April as runners from many states and countries take in Abraham Lincoln sites during this scenic half marathon.
Course Certification: This USATF certified course will immerse you in Lincoln history unlike any other race!
🏛️ Historic Landmarks
Start Location: The race starts at the Old State Capitol where Lincoln gave his famous House Divided speech.
Historic Sites: Within the first quarter mile of the race, near the Capitol, is the Lincoln-Herndon Law Offices, where Lincoln practiced law.
Mile Highlights: During mile nine, runners enter Oak Ridge Cemetery to view Lincoln's final resting place, and mile 10 takes runners through a park named after him.
Finish Line: Runners will pass by the historic Union Train station next to the Abraham Lincoln Museum and Library, just one block from the finish line.
🧳 Expo and Packet Pickup
Expo Time: 4pm – 8pm on Friday at the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, located at 701 E Adams St, Springfield, IL 62701.
Vendors: We will have some awesome vendors and sponsors this year that will be on hand with giveaways & information.
Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will be held at the Expo from 4-8pm on Friday AND from 6:30am-7:15am on race morning.
Recommendation: We strongly recommend getting packets the night before the race to see all the exciting new vendors!
