Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon

🏃‍♂️ Race Registration

• Closing Time: Registration closes 7:00am on race day or when sold out.
• Registration Method: You must register from your own device, there is no paper registration.
• Shirt Availability: Shirts and hoodies are available until inventory runs out. So if your size is showing available when you register, it's yours!

📅 Event Details

• Date: Join us on the first Saturday of April as runners from many states and countries take in Abraham Lincoln sites during this scenic half marathon.
• Course Certification: This USATF certified course will immerse you in Lincoln history unlike any other race!
• Starting Point: The race starts at the Old State Capitol where Lincoln gave his famous House Divided speech.
• Historic Landmarks: Runners will pass key historic locations such as Lincoln-Herndon Law Offices, Lincoln's home, and Oak Ridge cemetery.

📍 Course Highlights

• Landmarks: The course includes the only building still standing where Lincoln practiced law during his 25-year career and views of Lincoln's final resting place.
• City Park: Mile 10 takes runners through the local city park named after the 16th president.
• Finish Area: During the final mile of the race, runners will pass by historic Union Train station, adjacent to the Abraham Lincoln Museum and Library, just one block from the finish line.
• Historic Experience: So much history in just 13.1 miles! Whether you are interested in Lincoln history or not, we promise this race is well worth it!

🎟️ Expo Information

• Expo Time: 4pm – 8pm on Friday at the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.
• Location: Located at 701 E Adams St, Springfield, IL 62701.
• Vendors: We will have some awesome vendors and sponsors this year that will be on hand with giveaways & information.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Friday Pickup: Packet pickup will be held at the Expo at the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel from 4-8pm on Friday.
• Race Morning Pickup: This year, morning packet pickup will take place at the Old State Capitol from 6:30am-7:15am.
• Convenience: This will be much more convenient for participants.
• Recommendation: We strongly recommend getting packets the night before the race. Plus, you will get to see all the exciting new vendors!
