🌸 Lilac Run 2025 Overview

The 2025 Lilac Run 5K & 10K will take place on the FINAL day of the Lilac Festival at Highland Park. Both in-person and virtual race experiences will be offered! Join us for the 46th annual race on Sunday, May 18th for the in person Lilac Run 5K, 10K and Dunkin' Dash! Choose to run or walk in one, two (Double Dash) or all three events (Double Dash + Dunkin' Dash)! If you register for the Double Dash and participate in both the 5K & 10K you will get receive a Lilac pint glass as part of your registration ticket and a custom medal slider.

🕒 Race Schedule

• 5K: 8:00AM (all 5K participants need to be done by 9:20AM)
• 10K: 9:30AM (all 10K participants need to be done by 11:20AM)
• Dunkin' Dash: 11:30AM

📍 Location

• Venue: Highland Park - the site of the Lilac Festival

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Friday, May 16th: 10am - 7pm at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters (3400 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14618)
• Saturday, May 17th: 10am - 5pm at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters (3400 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14618)
• Sunday, May 18th: Starting at 7am - 11am at the Lilac Festival, location off of Highland Ave across from St. Johns. Just west of the start line in the grass area.

🎁 Participation Perks

• Shirt: Unisex Lilac Run t-shirt - Register by April 30th to be guaranteed a shirt!! Only limited quantities available after that!
• Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a finisher medal.
• Timed Event: This is a professionally timed event.
• After Party: Lilac Run After Party - DJ music & post-race food.

🏆 Awards

• Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
• Top Finishers: Awards given to Male and Female, 1st - 3rd in each age group for both the 5K and 10K.

🍩 Dunkin' Dash

What is the Dunkin' Dash? Who doesn't love donuts!?!? Participate in the Dunkin' Dash which is a 1 mile fun run down Highland Ave. Run a half mile, get a donut, and run back. Register by April 30th to be guaranteed a Dunkin' Dash t-shirt. The perfect fun run to do with the family!

💖 Proceeds

The Lilac Run benefits Holy Childhood who prepares children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for maximum independence and integration in the community through individualized programs and services. They are dedicated to serving our people in an atmosphere of dignity and compassion.

🏃‍♂️ Training Offers

Members of The Medved Endurance Project receive $10.00 on their race registration.
