🌉 The Best 4 Mile Race Between Two Cities

Since its inaugural running in 2012, the Bridge to Bridge 4 mile race has become one of the premier running events in the area.

📅 Date and Location

• Date: 2025-09-01
• Start Time: 7:00 AM
• Starting Point: R C Outfitters, 311 SW Water St, Peoria, Illinois 61602
• Total Distance: 4 miles

🏁 Race Course

The course runs through city streets a short distance before crossing the Bob Michel Bridge over the Illinois River. Leaving the bridge, the route enters the East Peoria River Trail to Clock Tower Drive, through the East Peoria Levee District to the , and returns across the river to Peoria via the Cedar Street Bridge, turns north on Washington St. and finishes back at Running Central.

💧 Water Stops

• Location: Near mile markers 1 and 2
• Additional Stop: Near mile 3
• Start/Finish Line: Water will also be available

🎉 Post Race Celebration

The Post Race Celebration and Awards will be at the CEFCU Center Stage, 200 N. Water St, just North of the Peoria Riverfront Museum and Caterpillar Visitor Center.

🍝 Food and Refreshments

• Hot food: Provided by the Olive Garden Italian Kitchen
• Menu: Famous bread sticks and pasta (choice of meat or vegetarian Marinara sauce)
• Beverages: Soft drinks, water, and Gatorade
• Timing: Available immediately after finishing the race

🎶 Entertainment

Music will be provided by a live band.
