For 10 years, this has been the race of choice for your pre-Halloween fun! The famous Cats & Bats 5K is once again in ABERDEEN! Spend your #HalloweeninAberdeen

🏃♂️ Race Options
- In-Person: Group 5K with a virtual option for non-locals or those uncomfortable in a group.
- Virtual 5K: $35 per person - complete the distance in your own time, race bib, shirt, and medal will be mailed.
- One Mile Fun Run: $25 per person - includes a race shirt: price increases to $30 on October 1.
- Race Day Registration: If available, $40 for the 5K, $35 for One Mile Fun Run.
🏅 Race Fees
- 5K Live Run or Walk: $30 until September 30, 2025 (includes chip timing, shirt, medal, post-race food and drinks).
- Price Increase: $35 per person on September 1, 2025.
- Rain or Shine: This is a rain or shine event! No refunds for weather.
- Packet Pickup: Begins race morning at 6:30 am in Festival Park: early packet pickup details TBA.
👕 Custom Event Shirt
Please register by 10/15 to guarantee your shirt size choice. We will do our best to have shirts for all but cannot guarantee sizes or availability for those who register after 10/15.
💖 Beneficiary
Our run will benefit The National PTSD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports local first responders suffering from PTSD.
🏆 Awards
- Overall Winners: Medals for Male and Female winners.
- Age Group Awards: Awards for first, second, and third place in categories: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
- Winners: Announcements to be made on-site.
