Carbs for Kids 5k & Bake Sale

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The South Sioux Falls Kiwanis Club presents its annual Carbs for Kids 5k & Bake Sale to support kids and youth in our community.

Come get your steps in with this fun run/walk and follow it up with a bake sale or just stop by for some sweet treats without running!

📅 Race Details

• What: 5k & free-will donation bake sale
• When: Saturday, April 12th, 2025
  • Race Start: 9 am
  • Bake Sale: 8 am - 10 am
• Where: Cherry Rock Park, Sioux Falls, SD 57103

📋 Additional Details

• Packet pick-up: will be Friday, April 11th, and the morning of April 12th.
• Course: is a flat and fast out-and-back along the bike path beginning and ending at Cherry Rock Park
• Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be awarded for the following categories:
  • Men age < 39
  • Men age > 40
  • Women age < 39
  • Women age > 40

Kiwanis is a community of members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children in Sioux Falls. Each child has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance.

All funds raised from the race and bake sale stay local!
