Baby Steps 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event Organizer: The Baby Steps 5K and One Mile Fun Run is an event organized by the Infant Crisis Services Teen Associate Board.
• Beneficiary: The race will benefit Infant Crisis Services, a 501 (c) (3) organization established in 1984.
• Mission: Infant Crisis Services is dedicated to providing food, formula, and diapers for infants and toddlers in 29 counties across central and southern Oklahoma.
• Teen Associate Board: The Infant Crisis Services Teen Associate Board is comprised of 47 Oklahoma City-area high schoolers in grades 9-12.

🌧️ Weather Policy

• Event Status: Event will happen rain or shine, but if there is lightning or severe weather, the event will be cancelled at our discretion.
• Refund Policy: There is no alternate date or refunds - if the event is cancelled due to weather, registrations will be considered a donation.

📍 Race Date & Location

• Date: Saturday, April 12th, 2025
• 1 Mile Fun Run Start Time: 8:00am
• 5K Run Start Time: 8:30am
• Location: Stars and Stripes Park, Lake Hefner, Oklahoma City, OK 73162

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, April 11th at Infant Crisis Services from 1pm to 6pm
• Race Day Pickup: Packet pickup will also begin on race day at 7am at Stars and Stripes park.
• Shirt Deadline: The last day we can guarantee a shirt with your registration is FRIDAY, MARCH 28th.

🏅 Virtual Participation

• How It Works: Run your race anytime, anyplace
• Swag: Wear your Infant Crisis Services Baby Steps swag and post a picture to social media
• Finish Time: Log your finish time
• Certificate: Download your personalized Finisher's Certificate and see how you ranked on the leaderboard of other participants
• Cost: This option costs an additional $5 to cover the cost of shipping for the race t-shirt.
