Avonworth Chase the Antelopes 5k & 1-Mile Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for the Seventh Annual "Chase the Antelopes 5k & One-Mile Walk". This event will take place at Avonworth Middle School, home of the Antelopes! The 8th grade class will be organizing this event from start to finish, under the direction of their Civics Teacher and Cross Country Coaches. Students will be designing the t-shirt, creating unique medals and awards in their Technology Education classes, and contacting local businesses for sponsorship and donations. All proceeds will benefit the Hannah Milbert Memorial Fund.

• Date: April 26, 2025
• Start/End: High school track
• Location: 256 Josephs Lane, Pittsburgh, PA
• Community: Avonworth neighborhoods

💰 Registration Details

• Entry Fee: $20 until April 1st, then $25
• Race Day Registration: Available starting at 8:00 a.m.
• Packet Pick-Up: At Lenzner Field (t-shirts no longer guaranteed)
• Parking: Participant parking at Avonworth Middle School/High School Campus. Do NOT park in the fire lanes.

🏅 Why Participate?

See if you can catch the Antelopes on April 26th! The race will start and end on the high school track with a mostly-flat run through the Avonworth community neighborhoods.
