44th Iroquois Hill Runners Thanksgiving Day Run

Run or walk the five-mile course November 28th, Thanksgiving morning.

• 5K: with Stuffing Run/Walk (5K Preview)
• Distance: 1.25 Mile Run/Walk
• Where: Iroquois Park

• 9:00 AM - 5 Mile Run
• 9:05 AM - 5K with stuffing
• 9:10 AM - 1.25 Mile Run/Walk

Note: Please note the roadways are open allowing access to the golf course. Use the pedestrian path while on the back side of the park.

Prizes will be awarded at 10:30 AM at the DJ Booth (must be present to win).

🎭 Costume Contest

Put your creativity to work and wear a costume. Turkeys, unicorns, pies and ugly sweaters welcome. Grand prize $50.

👕 Race Swag

Each Entrant will receive a top-quality long sleeve shirt and entry in the drawing. First 1,000 entrants will receive a medal.

💵 Entry Fees

• $30: Early sign up. Online before October 15th.
• $35: After Oct 15th. Online before Nov 15th.
• $40: After Nov 15th. Online prior to the start of the race.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pick up is Tuesday & Wednesday (November 26th & 27th) Thanksgiving week at Swag's South End Store. They are open 10 AM - 7 PM. Swag's Sport Shoes south end location. Race Day pickup also available on site for those who can't make it out to Swag's, although early pickup is highly encouraged.

🏁 Race Day Packet Pickup

Race Day Packet Pickup will close 15 minutes before the 5 Miler start at 9:00 AM.

🐾 Pets

Pets are allowed on the race course. For safety purposes, all pets must be leashed and runners with pets must start at the back of the runners and stay on the right side of the road.

🚗 Parking

There is limited parking available in the Iroquois Amphitheater Lot during the event. Please do not drive or park on grass areas in Iroquois Park.

Overflow parking is available in Colonial Gardens, 818 W Kenwood Dr, Louisville, KY 40214 and DeSales High School, 425 W Kenwood Dr, Louisville, KY 40214, which is a short walk to the Start and Finish Line.

5-Mile Run Awards

• Male/Female Overall cash award:
• 1st: $150, 2nd: $100, 3rd: $50
• All other Awards: Gift Certificate’s to Swags Sports Shoes
• Awards can be picked up starting December 2nd – December 13th at Swags South Store.

Age Group: Three-deep M/F in 5 year brackets from 14 and under to 75 and older.

• Age Group Awards: 1st $20, 2nd $15, 3rd $10
• Eugene Baker Memorial Award: Oldest Runner $50
• First Stroller: $20 (must begin behind runners)
• No Awards for the 5K or 1.25 Mile Fun Run/Walk
