Walking for the Health of It 2025

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

This is our 5th annual 5K & 1 mile Memory Walk. We are walking to raise awareness for mental health issues including the reduction of stigma and the promotion of positive support, healthy habits & suicide prevention. Mental illness affects 1 in 4 people every year, meaning that nearly every family in our community is affected.

📍 Course

Course: 5K mapped course at Avon Town Hall Park, Avon Indiana.

💵 Entry Fee Includes

• Awesome T-shirt: An awesome WFTHI t-shirt*
• Custom Bib: A custom WFTHI In Color bib
• Community Event: Entry to community health & wellness fair, kids activities and yard games and guest speakers
• T-shirt Deadline: The t-shirt cut off is April 25th you must be registered by this date to receive an event t-shirt

🎗️ Fundraising

Fundraising: Both individual and team fundraising options are available to all participants. Earn complimentary 5K entry using our inline fundraiser option. Select Become a fundraiser in the left-hand column for more information.

If you would like to sponsor a member/consumer to participate in the run/walk, please choose the Sponsor a participant under the donation tab. The cost is $25 per member/consumer.

🕊️ Memorial Signs

NEW THIS YEAR!!! If you would like a memorial sign in memory of someone you've lost to suicide placed along the route, please send your request to deana.carter@mhahc.org. Signs are $5.00 and yours to keep at the end of the event. Please have all requests submitted by April 25th.
