Sidewalk Shuffle 5K

🕛 Start Time

• Time: 12:00 P.M.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Ages

• Eligibility: 6 and older—family-friendly!
• Accessibility: Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.

🏁 Course

• Start/Finish: The race will start and finish at the Lakewalk at Endion Station.
• Type: The course is an out and back, heading East up the shore along the Lakewalk.

🚶‍♂️ Participants

• Placement: Please place yourselves appropriately at the starting line based on whether you will be walking, shuffling, running or rolling the course.
• Advice: Runners, please place yourselves closer to the front: walkers or shufflers, closer to mid or back.

🥇 Awards and Race Results

• Ceremony: Award Ceremony will take place between 12:45-1:15 p.m.
• Results: Results will be posted on the Duluth Y website, www.duluthymca.org/programs/events/sidewalk-shuffle, www.northlandrunner.com, and www.duluthtimingandevents.com.

🏆 Award Categories

• Youth: 1st Place Youth (6-12) Male & Female
• Teens: 1st Place Teen (13-17) Male & Female
• Adults: 1-3rd place Adult (18+) Male & Female
• Teams: 1st place Teams Male & Female, Co-Ed Team (maximum of 5 Shufflers per team).

🅿️ Parking

• Advice: Please allow yourself time to park and to get to the start before the race start.
• Parking Options: The Y suggests parking at one of the nearby ramps and walking to the start line.
• Validation: Shufflers will receive free parking validation with proof of running bib for the Holiday Inn Ramp or 4th Avenue Auto Park.

⚠️ Race Cancellation or Alteration Policy

• Safety: The Y will make decisions to cancel or alter the race to ensure safety from weather dangers.
• No Refunds: There will not be any refund or credits if the race is canceled due to weather.
• Notification: The YMCA will notify participants through the email provided on the registration form, the Duluth Area Family YMCA website, and social media.
