Etowah River Park Summer Classic - 5k/10k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for an exciting 5K/10K race, featuring a special 10K club/team competition! This family friendly event welcomes everyone: walkers, runners, back-of-the-pack participants, and speedsters alike, hosted by Cherokee Run Club.

🏆 10K Run Club/Group Competition

Think your crew is the fastest? Prove it!

• Registration: Run Clubs, Teams, Groups must register under Club/Team name. Find your team name or create a new one when you register for the 10k - Choose the join/create a team.
• Eligibility: To be eligible for scoring, each team must have a minimum of 10 members.
• Scoring: The top 5 finishers from each team will be scored to determine the fastest group.
• Awards: Team runners will be eligible for both individual and team awards.

⏱️ Timing Information

This event uses RFID timing provided by Performance Race Services. To ensure your time is recorded accurately, please make sure your race bib meets the following guidelines:

• Placement: Worn clearly on the front of your torso.
• Condition: Not folded, wrinkled, or altered in any way.
• Attachment: Secured with pins at all four corners.
• Visibility: Fully visible and not covered by jackets, belts, or other gear. Live results will be available within minutes after you finish.

• Photos: True Speed Photos will be on-site capturing all the race action, so grab your friends and make some memories! True Speed Photos included with your registration.

• Early Pick-Up: Thursday, August 7. 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Fleet Feet Canton (1431 Riverstone Parkway Canton, GA 30114) FLEET FEET CANTON.
• Race Day: Packet Pickup & Registration (Near Stage)
• Time: 6:00 AM - Race day Registration & Packet Pickup Opens.
• Closing: 7:15 AM - Race day Registration & Packet Pickup Closes.
• Warm-Up: 7:30 AM - 10K/5K Warm-Up.
• Start Times: 7:45 AM - 10K Start, 8:15 AM - 5K Start.

5K Registration

• Early Bird: (4/20/2025 - 4/30/25): $25.
• Mid Registration: 5/01/25 - 5/19/25: $28.
• Final Window: 5/20/25 - 6/20/25: $33 (6/9/25 Deadline for guaranteed shirts & award medals).
• Late Registration: 6/21/25 - 8/08/25: $35.
• Race Day: 8/9/25 - $38 (No guaranteed shirt: extra shirts may be available after the race for pickup).

10K Registration

• Early Bird: (4/20/2025 - 4/30/25): $28.
• Mid Registration: 5/01/25 - 5/19/25: $32.
• Final Window: 5/20/25 - 6/20/25: $35 (6/9/25 Deadline for guaranteed shirts & award medals).
• Late Registration: 6/21/25 - 8/08/25: $38.
• Race Day: 8/9/25 - $43 (No guaranteed shirt: extra shirts may be available after the race for pickup).

🏅 Awards – 5K & 10K

Individual Awards

• Overall: Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers.
• Masters: (40+) First Male & Female Finishers.
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male & Female Finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

10K Team/Group Competition Awards

The top 3 teams will receive additional race swag. To guarantee additional team swag all members must be registered by June 4th.
