The West Florida Y Runner's Club announces the Inaugural Summer Sweat 5k at Wall Springs Park in Palm Harbor Florida.

- Event Date: July 12, 2025
- Start Time: 8 AM
- Location: 3725 Desoto Blvd, Palm Harbor, FL
- Course Type: Mostly blacktop with a portion on hard sand.
🎉 Race Features
- Theme: This event will continue with a Fourth of July theme.
- Fun Run: A 1 Mile Fun Run will also begin at 9 AM.
- Discounts: West Florida Y Runner’s Club members receive a 10% discount.
- T-shirts: Standard West Florida Y Runner's Club themed shirts will be available.
👕 T-shirt Information
- Registration: If you don't want to compete but still want the shirt, just register for the fun run and you will receive a shirt.
- Cutoff Date: The cutoff for guaranteed T-shirts will be June 30th.
- Pickup: Shirts will not be mailed if you cannot be at the event, so please make arrangements with a friend or family member to pick up for you.
🏆 Awards
- Categories: Awards for the 5k will be given to Top Male Overall and Top Female Overall.
- Age Groups: 3 deep in each age category for Male and Female.
- Age Categories: 13-under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
🥤 Post-Race Details
We will have post refreshments and drinks as well as the Awards Ceremony at approximately 9:15 AM.
