🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Be one of the first to run or walk along the newest Schuylkill River Trail section! The Christian to Crescent Fun Run/Walk is your chance to see the cable-stayed bridge up close before the trail officially opens. The one-mile course begins and ends at the northern end of the project near Christian Street.

Access Points: - CHOP Bridge: stairs only - South Street: stairs or ramp

$40 registration includes a t-shirt and light refreshments. Space is limited.

🌉 Project Highlights

Christian to Crescent Project Details: Christian to Crescent is located along the east side of the Schuylkill River. This section extends Schuylkill Banks an additional 2,812 feet and fills a critical gap in the five-county Schuylkill River Trail.

• Bridge Length: 650-foot cable-stay bridge
• Views: Magnificent views of the city and Schuylkill River
• Amenities: Trail lighting for nighttime use and safety, benches, and trash cans
• Connections: Accessible connection to the Grays Ferry Crescent and 34th Street Bridge

Schuylkill River Development Corporation (SRDC): SRDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working with the City of Philadelphia to revitalize the Schuylkill River corridor. The centerpiece of this effort is the construction, programming, and maintenance of a continuous eight-mile riverfront trail and greenway.
