Run for the Beaches 5K & Fun Run/Walk

Kick off your morning with a sunrise 5k as the early morning low tide exposes the wide, hard-packed shoreline of Treasure Island’s beautiful beaches —perfect for running or walking!

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Competitive Option: The 5K is chip-timed for serious runners and walkers.
• Fun Option: Grab some friends and family for the 1-mile Fun Run or Walk—a great way to soak in the sea air and enjoy the soothing sound of the waves.
• For Kids: Little ones can burn off their morning energy in the 100-meter Turtle Dash—a fun and fast sprint just for kids!

🎉 Post-Race Celebration

After crossing the finish line, stick around for an awesome after-party!

• Live Music: Dance and enjoy live music by NoFilter.
• Refreshments: Sip on cold beer and seltzers.
• Awards: Celebrate with awards and raffles.
• Taste the Island: Local restaurants will be serving up delicious bites to help reenergize our runners and walkers.

🌊 Impact and Support

Proceeds from the event support our Gulf beaches' ecosystem through environmental and educational initiatives, as well as local nonprofits dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating seabirds and marine life, and organizing beach cleanups.

Treasure Island has a No Dogs on the Beach Ordinance. For the safety of our runners and to respect local regulations, we kindly ask that you leave pets at home.
