Baseline Blitz 5k Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for the annual Baseline Blitz 5k run/walk! The Northville Educational Foundation and the Novi Educational Foundation have partnered to bring you a fantastic community 5k run/walk. The Baseline Blitz kicks off rivalry week between the two districts with a 5k run/walk on Sunday, October 12th, and culminates with the Baseline Blitz Tailgate on Friday, October 17th before the Novi vs. Northville football game. The 2025 race will be held at the Novi Wildcats Stadium in Novi. The 5k run/walk will start at 9:00 am and the kids dash will take place at 10:00 am. This is a family friendly event, all ages and abilities are welcome to participate.

💰 Pricing

• 5K run/walk: $30 until 9/28, $35 from 9/29 to 10/11, $40 on race day (on-line registration only).
• Kids dash: $10 until 9/28, $15 from 9/29 thru race day On-line registrations only.
• Family Discount: We are offering a 10% family discount when 3 or more people from the same household register together.

🏅 Race Swag

Participants in both the 5k run/walk and kids dash will receive a t-shirt in their size if registered by September 28th. Sizes available as supplies last after that date. Adult and Youth sizes available.

🏆 Awards

5k run/walk Overall Male & Female winners, Overall Male & Female Master winners (40+), First place in Male & Female age groups 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

📍 Course

The 5k run/walk will start/finish near the Novi Wildcats Stadium. We are fine tuning the 2025 course! Please see a full course description and map at the top of the page, or the left side menu on your mobile device (details coming soon). The kids dash will be one time around the track, 1/4 mile, starting and finishing under the timing arch. The kids race is a non-timed event.

🅿️ Parking

There is plenty of parking at Novi High School, use the athletic entrance off of Taft Road.

📅 Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be race day only. Race day packet pickup and registration will be held race day morning starting at 7:30 am inside the Novi Wildcats Stadium.

⏰ Schedule

The 5k run/walk will start at 9:00 am. The kids dash will take place on the track and will start at 10:00 am.

📈 Results

You'll receive a text shortly after you cross the line with your results. We'll also post QR codes that you can scan and pull up your results in real time at the event. The kids dash is a non-timed fun run event.

🙋‍♂️ Volunteers

If you are interested in volunteering for the event, click HERE for available opportunities. We need help at race day packet pickup and registration, handing out awards, refreshments, course marshals, and help with the kids dash.
