Cabrini Monarch 5K Overview

Cabrini is excited to welcome Monarchs and the larger community to join us for the Monarch 5K and Fun Run! This is an annual public running event that is held on the Saturday of our Parish Festival each year. The running route begins on our campus and winds through the adjacent Allen Park neighborhood. It will include a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk and a 5K Run/Walk, both events are open to all ages.

Race Information

• Advance Registration: Register in advance at runsignup.com by May 22 ($30 early bird price includes a t-shirt): registration after May 25 is $35 and DOES NOT include a t-shirt (t-shirt availability cannot be guaranteed for those registering beyond May 25).
• On-Site Registration: On-site registration is available on race day at the registration table in front of the high school starting at 7:30 AM for $35.
• Bottled Water: Bottled water will be available at the start/finish line.
• Water Stations: A water station will be located on the course.

Race Timing

• Race Awards: Awards will be distributed and announced following the 5K.
• Pickup: Bib and t-shirt pickup at the registration table begins at 7:30 AM.
• Finisher Medals: 5K finisher medals will be provided for the top three winners in each group.
• Race Times: All races start on the south side of Wick Rd. in front of Cabrini High School:

8:30 AM – 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
9:15 AM – 5K Run/Walk

Event Details

• Event Purpose: The Cabrini Monarch 5K is an annual public running event held on and around the Cabrini campus. Proceeds from the event benefit Cabrini schools and Cabrini High School Track and Cross Country teams.
• Packet Pickup: Your packet (your t-shirt and bib) can be picked up at the registration table in front of the high school on Saturday, June 6, 2026 starting at 7:30 AM.
• Day Of Registration: Yes, registration will still be open beginning at 7:30 AM on the day of the race (desired t-shirt size or shirt not guaranteed).
• Online Registration: Register in advance at runsignup.com by May 25 ($30 early bird price includes a t-shirt): registration after May 25 is $35 and DOES NOT include a t-shirt. Online registration will close on June 6 at 9 am (shirt NOT available).

Parking and Amenities

• Parking Availability: Yes. There is parking near the Cabrini Center located on Englewood, on the side streets, and at Allen Park Middle School, 8401 Vine Ave, Allen Park.
• Display Bib Number: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment. Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.
• Water Stations: Yes, a water station will be available along the route and there will be water available at the end of the race.
• Permitted Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted. Please leave all personal items and valuables in your vehicle.

• Donating Without Running: Yes. Donations will be accepted for 3 weeks after the event.

• Goods or Services Donation: You can contact us at advancement@:cabrinicatholicschools.com. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
• Refund Policy: No, we do not provide refunds for the event: however, in the event that a runner cannot participate, registration may be transferred to another person.

• How to Volunteer: It’s simple! Email advancement@:cabrinicatholicschools.com and we will reply within 24 hours. Volunteers are always needed for the day of festivities. Thank you!

The Monarch 5K and Fun Run is an annual public running event held to benefit Cabrini Catholic Schools. It is a 5K for all ages as well as a 1-mile Fun Run. Proceeds benefit Cabrini schools and the Cabrini High School Track and Cross Country program.
