🏃‍♂️ Cabrini Monarch 5K Overview

Cabrini is excited to welcome Monarchs and the larger community to join us for the Monarch 5K and Fun Run! This is an annual public running event that is held on the Saturday of our Parish Festival each year. The running route begins on our campus and winds through the adjacent Allen Park neighborhood. It will include a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk and a 5K Run/Walk, both events are open to all ages.

📅 Race Information

• Registration Deadline: Register in advance at runsignup.com by May 22 ($30 early bird price includes a t-shirt): registration after May 22 is $35 and DOES NOT include a t-shirt (t-shirt availability cannot be guaranteed for those registering beyond May 22).
• On-site Registration: Available on race day at the registration table in front of the high school starting at 7:30 AM for $30.
• Water Stations: Bottled water at start/finish line and water station on course.
• Awards: Race awards will be distributed and announced following the 5K: 5K finisher medals for the top three winners in each group.

All races start on the south side of Wick Rd. in front of Cabrini High School:

• 8:30 AM: 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
• 9:15 AM: 5K Run/Walk

❓ Monarch 5K Details

The Cabrini Monarch 5K is an annual public running event held on and around the Cabrini campus. The event includes a 1-mile Fun Run and a 5K for all ages. Proceeds from the event benefit Cabrini schools and Cabrini High School Track and Cross Country teams.

📦 Packet Pickup

Your packet (your t-shirt and bib) can be picked up at the registration table in front of the high school on Saturday, June 8, 2024 starting at 7:30 AM.

📋 Day of Registration

Yes. Registration will still be open beginning at 7:30 AM on the day of the race (desired t-shirt size or shirt not guaranteed).

🔒 Online Registration

Register in advance at runsignup.com by May 22 ($30 early bird price includes a t-shirt): registration after May 22 is $35 and DOES NOT include a t-shirt. Online registration will close on June 8 at 9 am (shirt NOT available).

🚗 Parking Information

Yes. There is parking near the Cabrini Center located on Englewood, on the side streets, and at Allen Park Middle School, 8401 Vine Ave, Allen Park.

🎽 Bib Number Requirement

Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment. Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.

💧 Water Availability

Yes, a water station will be available along the route and there will be water available at the end of the race.

🧳 Items to Bring

Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted. Please leave all personal items and valuables in your vehicle.

❤️ Donation Without Running

Yes. Donations will be accepted for 3 weeks after the event.

💰 Refund Policy

No, we do not provide refunds for the event: however, in the event that a runner cannot participate, registration may be transferred to another person.
