Host: Pillars of Wellness is proud to host its fourth annual 5K/2K Run/Walk benefiting Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids (NICK).
Focus: This yearโs theme, "Here Comes the Sun," reflects the hope we strive to bring to children battling cancer, families, caregivers, and all those facing lifeโs challenges.
Objective: Movement, connection, and positivity play a crucial role in overall well-being, making this event a chance to come together and support one another.

5K Run: Timed event for competitive runners.
2K Walk: Perfect for all ages and fitness levels.
๐ Registration Information
Early Bird Registration: $35 per participant available until September 10, 2025 (includes a race-day t-shirt featuring our sunshine theme).
Race Day Registration: Register between 7:30-8:30 a.m. on race day. $40 per participant (t-shirt not guaranteed).
Racer Packet Pickup: Participants can pick up their race packets on Friday, September 26, between 5:30-7 p.m. at shelter #2 at the Lake County Fairgrounds.
Day Of Pickup: Packets also available from 7:30-8:30 a.m. on race day.
๐ What to Bring/Expect
Dress Code: Wear yellow or gold (and your biggest smile) to shine for childhood cancer awareness! Bonus points for rocking tie-dye, flower crowns, or anything that gives 60โs vibes.
Sunshine Stations: Inspiring messages of hope along the racecourse.
Wall of Hope: Participants can spread the love and write uplifting notes to kids fighting cancer.

Medals: Custom medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in age groups: 10 & under, 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Timing: Computerized timing provided by T&H Timing.
