š Event Details
No Timing Chip: Just a clock at the finish line and a proud feeling of accomplishment.
Empowering Experience: This will be an empowering event, not a competitive one. Women coming together to challenge themselves to run, walk or run/walk 2.5 miles and be proud of the accomplishment.
Custom Awards: Custom award medals at the finish line. 100% of proceeds from sales go to youth of Long Island, including families dealing with a family member diagnosed with breast cancer.
Fun and Challenge: To have fun, challenge yourself and dedicate some time to you and your health. A 2.5 mile walk, run, or walk/run is a powerful part of self-care.
Supportive Environment: Come join other women in this journey of making time for ourselves and be proud of our accomplishments.
Open to All: Race event is open to everyone. Strollers are allowed but you must start at the back of the start line.
Trail Etiquette: Walkers stay to the right on the trail, and runners stay on the left of the trail.

Community Impact: Funds raised directly support Long Island families affected by breast cancer.
š¶ Youth Events
Kids Race: 8:30 am, only for ages 3 to 7 years old. This event is done in waves, set when we are closer to the event.
Distances: 3-year-olds run .06 of a mile: 4 and 5-year-olds run .15 of a mile: 6 and 7-year-olds run .30 of a mile.
Medals: Custom youth award medal at the finish line.
š Main Event
4k Walk/Run: 9:00 am, 4k (2.5 miles) - 2 loops on the Holtsville Ecology Center walk trail. No chip in bib and no first, second, and third place awards.
Celebration: Every participant will receive a gorgeous custom award medal and beautiful empowering socks at the finish line.
Merchandise: Beautiful and empowering shirts and socks will be available with a donation to our cause.
š Event Timing
Date: Saturday, April 26th.
Youth Race: 8:30 am for kids ages 3 to 7 years old.
Main Event: 9:00 am for the 2.5 mile event.
Bib Pickup: Morning of event from 7:30 am to 8:30 am.

Rain or Shine: This race takes place in rain or shine. No refunds.
Virtual Option: If there is a dangerous condition and the race event must be canceled, the race is converted to a virtual event.
Beneficiary: This event raises money for Kids Run Long Island, a nonprofit that supports Long Island youth and families.
