24th Annual Veteran's Flag Day 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

• Location: Lyons VA Medical Campus, 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ US 07939
• Date: Thursday, June 12th, 2025 (rain date June 19th)
• Time: 7:00 p.m. (check-in begins at 5:30 p.m.)

❤️ About Community Hope

• Mission: Community Hope is New Jersey’s largest non-profit providing housing and support services to military members, homeless veterans, veteran families, and adults with mental illness.
• Fundraiser: The Veterans Flag Day 5K and 1 Mile walk is one of our largest fundraisers, with proceeds going directly to veterans in our Hope for Veterans Program.
• Impact: Your participation helps rescue over 1,200 Veterans and families from homelessness and despair.
• Fees: $45 for runners, $35 for walkers, and $45 for a virtual 5K. Virtual participants can track results using the Strava app.

🏅 Awards and Prizes

• Categories: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in various age groups, as well as team categories.
• Overall Awards: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for Overall (Male/Female).
• Age Groups: 1st, 2nd & 3rd for male & female winners in 10 year age groups from 14 & under to Over 80.
• T-shirt: All participants receive a free t-shirt!
