🏃♂️ Race Overview
The HunterFest 5K is back for its fourth year! Join us for this breathtaking 5K in Liberty State Park. This year offers a new race course but the same spectacular views of the New York City skyline and Lady Liberty. All levels are welcome. The top three overall male and female finishers will receive cash prizes! Bring your family and friends who will cheer you on while enjoying HunterFest, where they can sample delicious local cuisine, play carnival games, and more.
🏅 The Course
Be ready to get your PR on when you run this flat, scenic, certified USATF New Jersey 500 Point 5K. Course details are forthcoming. But rest assured that this year's course will allow you to bask in the beauty of New York Harbor while enjoying an exhilarating spring Sunday run.
🚗 Transportation
You have a few options!
- Ferry: Liberty State Park is accessible via ferry from Manhattan.
- Path train: Available for travel to the park, details can be found on the Path train website.
- Light Rail: Check schedules at the Light Rail station website.
- Note: Traffic in Jersey City can be unpredictable, so we recommend you give yourself extra time to arrive, park, and walk to the registration area/race start.

Event is rain or shine! There are no transfers, no credits, no refunds. Race Director reserves the right to change the date, modify, or cancel the race.
📅 Event Schedule
- Runner registration and bag check: 9 AM to 9:30 AM
- Race start: 10 AM
- Festival start: 10 AM
- Awards: 11 AM (Awards will be given to the top three males and females overall. Age group awards will be given to the top three in each of the following age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+)
- Race end: 11 AM
- Festival end: 2 PM

🏆 Race Results
Certified race results will be posted live at the event and later in the day on this website.
