🎉 10th Annual Paper Chase 5K

We are super excited because it is the 10th Anniversary of the Paper Chase this year! The race will start at Lansing Shuffle and go south along the Lansing River Trail, turn around at the halfway point, and come back. We are also having a raffle where participants can purchase tickets to win prizes!!

💰 Pricing

• Entry Fee: $40 until 5/22, $45 from 5/22 to 6/21, $50 race day 6/22
• T-Shirt: A race t-shirt will be included for participants who register on or before May 22, 2025.
• Gift Card: A $10 gift card to Lansing Shuffle will be provided for every registrant.
• First-Come Basis: Participants who register after May 22 will receive a t-shirt on a first-come first-served basis.

👥 Team Pricing

• Team Discount: $5 discount per participant with a team of four or more.
• Details: See the Paper Chase Team Information section for full details.
• Recruitment: Teams consist of a minimum of two people. At least one team member must be an employee or owner of the firm/organization.
• Encouragement: We encourage firms and organizations to recruit their staff, family members, and friends!

🏆 Awards

Awards will be presented to the fastest three (3) overall male and female finishers. Awards will also be presented to the firm/organization team which finishes with the lowest time and to the firm/organization team which has the greatest number of participants!

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be held on Race Day morning starting at 9:00 am.

💖 Beneficiaries

A portion of the proceeds from the race will benefit the Michigan Capital Region Big Brothers Big Sisters, which facilitates and supports meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and youth (“Littles”). Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Young Lawyers Section of the Ingham County Bar Association.

⏱️ Timing

The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live during the race and on this website.
