🎉 Camp Overview
- Focused Activities: A week-long, half-day camp focused on running for elementary to middle schoolers.
- Engaging Sessions: Daily running workouts, health and fitness educational sessions, and fun games!
- Guest Speakers: Enjoy time for a snack and hear from special guest speakers.
- Schedule: July 14th - July 18th from 8am - 12:00pm.
🌟 New to Running?
- All Levels Welcome: Absolutely! Camp is suitable for beginners and experienced runners alike.
- Activity Differentiation: Camp counselors will tailor activities and workouts for different ability levels.
- Beginner Friendly: Great introduction for those brand new to running.
- Skill Building: Focused on building skills, knowledge, and enjoyment of running.
📍 Camp Location
- Site: The camp will take place at The Alum Creek Dam Lower Recreation Area.
- Drop Off: Pick-up and drop off will be in front of the Maple Shelter House each day.
💰 Cost Information
- Registration Fee: $200 for the week.
- Included: Registration includes access to all camp activities and materials.
🎽 What’s Included
- Water Bottle: Each camper receives a water bottle.
- Camp T-Shirt: A camp t-shirt that must be worn every day at camp.
- Daily Snack: Healthy snacks provided every day.
- Coaching: USATF certified coaching will guide all activities.
🕒 Daily Schedule
- 7:30am: Drop off opens: campers may start arriving.
- 8:15am-9:45am: Running Workout with the structure of a cross country workout.
- 9:50-10:10am: Snack/Playground time.
- 11:00am-11:45am: "Fun" Physical activity (games like scavenger hunts, capture the flag, etc).
🎒 Camp Gear Pickup
- Pickup Location: Camp gear pick-up will be at the Fleet Feet Lewis Center location.
- Timing: Exact dates are to be determined, but will be the week before camp.
- First Day Pickup: Camp gear is also available for pickup on the first day of camp.
