X&A 5K

🏃‍♂️ X&A 5K Overview

• Date: July 5, 2025
• Location: 200 West Maple St., Deshler, OH
• Time: 9 am
• Event: 5K race and 3.21 Memorial walk

🎖️ Purpose of the Event

• Commemoration: Honors Xavier and Aidan Wensink and their passion for running.
• Community: Join us to celebrate their lives by running the streets of Deshler.
• Proceeds: All proceeds will support Wellness projects in the Patrick Henry Community.
• Chip Timing: Dave's Running will facilitate chip timing for accurate results.

🎟️ Registration Information

• Deadline: Register by June 15 to reserve your shirt and commemorative wristband.
• Late Registration: Race day registration will not include a shirt.
• Family Discount: Register multiple participants to reduce fees: use coupon code FAMILY10 for a 10% discount on totals of $80 or more.
• Packet Pickup: Early Packet Pickup available on July 2, time and location TBD.

🥞 Post-Race Activities

• Door Prizes: Given to registered 5K participants.
• Pancakes: Served in memory of Aidan's love of pancakes after the race.
• Fun Run: A 1K (0.6 mile) Fun Run for kids starting at 8:30 am.
• Fun Run Rewards: Participants receive a medal, a tribute wristband, and favorite treats like Skittles and cosmic brownies.
