Strength in Colors 5K & KIDS DASH

🎉 Event Overview

The annual Strength in Colors 5K & KIDS DASH (SIC5K) has a new home, the Westerville Sports Complex! Join us on Sunday, July 27th to support cancer patients, survivors, and to raise awareness of cancer prevention. The morning will be filled with activities for the entire family, including the dog. The welcome and a tribute to cancer patients and survivors will begin around 8:30 followed by the pre-race warm up and the KIDS DASH. The 5K will begin at approximately 9AM.

🌟 What to Expect

Our new venue offers great race route, more parking, and provides the space for us to include food trucks, vendors, health and wellness experts, entertainers, and crafters. Together we will raise awareness of cancers caused by HPV and promote cancer prevention. Everyone is invited to enjoy the morning with us!

🏃‍♂️ KIDS DASH

• KIDS DASH: Sponsored by Northstar Family Dental will provide kids 8 and under with a race tailored just for them! All participants will receive a fun prize and a few surprises too!

💪 Wellness Opportunities

• Wellness Row: Health and Wellness experts will be onsite to provide HPV-related cancer prevention education materials and to answer your questions.
• KIDS ZONE: Face painters, balloon twisters, and arts and crafts.
• Canine Corner: Your furry canine family members are welcome, but must be on a leash at all times. Take them by our canine corner for a drink of water and a treat bag.

💖 Your Donations at Work

Your donations at work! Our 2024 fundraiser benefited Helping Hands Free Women's Clinic by granting them funds to provide women with free cancer screenings and well checks. Proceeds were also used to purchase over $10,000 in gift cards for cancer patients in treatment: the cards helped patients purchase the fuel and food they needed to get through treatment.
