🌲 Race Description

This run takes place on a scenic point-to-point course during the early summer in the back woods of the Gulf Coast. It starts on the historic Camp James E. Rudder, the home of the 6th Ranger Training Battalion and the Swamp Phase of the Army's premier leadership course, Ranger School. The route itself takes you down the "Rudder Mile" which Ranger Instructors have run for decades. Once you cross under the "Rudder Mile" banner overhead, you will be running down sand trails through training areas where Ranger students have patrolled in pursuit of the coveted Ranger Tab, past Prisoner's Pond, and finally ending back on camp.

• Open House: Access to the 6th Ranger Training Battalion Open House held all day.
• Demonstrations: Airborne Jump demonstration, Ranger in Action demonstration, Weapons demonstration.
• Car Show: Enjoy a variety of vehicles on display.
• Tickets: Available online as well as in person on the day of the race!
